Make sure, that you know how the mass in UK works. My experience was that you cannot enter the church, just for sightseeing; you have to attend the mass! After 1h you think it’s nearly over and just want to attend the communion, so they invite you to the very front of the church. Well there you have to sit down and take part of the mass another 1.5 h …. 2.5h in a church! This is much, when you’re in London only for the weekend… Don’t ask me if it was a special day or a regular sunday. It’s years ago!
