Aw, c’mon! When I was there you could hear the distant rumbling of the tube overhead, there was an ever-present sound of dripping water coming from who-knows-where, and dark, barely distinguishable figures lurking in the shadows. Sure, it’s hokey, but for sheer atmosphere, it’s hard to beat. London ain’t all culture and refinement. It’s definitely worth a look-see.
